Terms of service

To place an order, the customer must follow the online purchase process established on the Shopify platform, selecting the desired products, entering the required shipping information and confirming payment.

Once the process has been completed, the system will automatically send an Order Confirmation email containing the purchase details.

In accordance with Article 10 of the Swiss Federal VAT Act (MWSTG), Emmalashmaker is currently not subject to Value Added Tax (VAT), as the statutory turnover threshold has not been reached.

Therefore, the prices shown for deliveries within Switzerland are net prices and do not include or separately display VAT.

For shipments to the EU, the Store uses the integrated EAS customs software. The system will automatically calculate the local VAT applicable in the buyer’s country of destination during the checkout process.

This tax will be clearly itemised on the invoice and collected at the time of purchase, ensuring that the parcel can clear customs without additional charges being requested from the customer upon delivery.

The Store provides customers with secure and encrypted payment gateways. The following payment methods are accepted:

Credit and debit cards processed through Apple Pay (APay) and Google Pay (GPay).

Twint (available exclusively to users in Switzerland).

The payment will be charged in real time once the validity of the user’s banking or payment details has been confirmed.

All physical orders are processed and shipped under a direct agreement with Swiss Post (Post CH).

Estimated delivery times will be displayed during the checkout process.

The Store shall not be held responsible for delays caused by shipping companies or customs holds that are beyond its control.
